Hello

How many ACP tablets should I give an 11.2 nervous pony to keep her still enough to be freezemarked?

I would have asked the vet today but I wrote off the car and had to cancel my appointment

I would have thought 4 would do it. se should be quite relaxed after that.
we give horses (average 16hh) 8 for a heavier sedation, (i.e 1st turn out after box rest)
our youngsters (all between 12-15hh) get 3/4 to take the edge off them if they been in for a while for bad weather.

certainly no more than 4 but you could probably get away with 3 but not knowing how nervous she is it is difficult to say exactly.

all depends on what strength the tablets are but if she is that nervous acp will probaaly not touch her you would be better off with sedaline paste from the vets!

My ponys 14hh, was very very nervy with her feet .. 8 tablets and still kicking

Tends to make them panic more
