I wonder what it would have been without the Prascend - kind of confirms that last Septembers of 18 without medication was a false negative?
So the PPID seems to be under control but the lammi hasn't entirely gone away, neither have the fat pads on a much reduced diet and no grass whatsoever (lived in the manege for the last 6 weeks). We will be testing for IR next week - any other ideas?

Check out thelaminitissite, join the fb page and ask andrea, font of knowledge ( and not the rubbish you can get told!). Diet, feet alignment and possible ems come to mind but i'm no expert! Diet can be quite strict, have a look and i hope it helps

Mmmm - worries me a bit. Mine has had laminitis but hopefully I will be able to increase the exercise (currently walking in hand on rubber surface for 15 mins twice a day). Still has fat pads but has lost nearly 10% of body weight in 6 weeks. Definitely has EMS but Cushings reading at the start of the laminitis episode was low 60's. Vet is testing again this week as they aren't sure how much pain affects the readings but in my mind he has Cushings - I cannot see how pain will make that much difference to the reading.

He has been retired for 5 years (injury) but before the laminitis I was told I could walk him as far as I liked and I had intended to bring him back into walking work. Once I have the go ahead he will be ridden again :) which will help his EMS.
