Acupuncture for headshaking

Anyone who has read my previous post would know that my mare has headshaking syndrome very badly. My vet has referred her to a homoeopathic vet and today he came out and gave her acupuncture. I wondered if anyone has tried this and what was the result like?

Just a quick update for anyone interested, 2 days since her acupuncture and so far so good I haven't seen her shake today at all she had a couple yesterday. I need the weather to be very windy or very hot to see for sure if it is work. Fingers crossed this has worked for her.
