Has anyone tried this? Sandy's back leg has gone 'funny' - sometimes it just goes from underneath her and she falls over, mostly it's fine but as she's badly put together anyway it does make her wobble rather although it doesn't seem to bother her any. The vet had put her on anti inflammatory drugs to see if they make a difference but my sister said she just seemed to think because she was an old dog she didn't matter  :( I rang the proper vet and she's booked into see her on monday but I can't make it so have given mum a list of things to ask about.

It could be nerve damage, although we haven't noticed her have a funny turn she may have had one in her sleep  Mum called me up there today to say if I thought she should be pts or not as she's worried that she is too close to her to make the decision but really she was so happy that I don't think she's ready for that yet so we came up with a big list of things to try first including acupuncture but not sure if it works on dogs?

Yes, it does work well on dogs. Usually good for pain relief. But your 'proper' vet should be able to tell you what exactly is the cause of the wobbly leg and advise what action to take. There are many things that could have caused this so don't think the worst. Good luck for Monday.
