I am looking to adapt the trailer for when we start to drive, to caryr the cart. has anyone had this done? I am in Kent, so would like somewhere local to do the work, but cant find anyone nearer than Cambridge!
I have seen a framework that fits onto the A-Frame at the front of the trailer near the jockey wheel. I think I have seen it on the Ifor Williams site and the Cheval Liberte one. Good luck
Be careful with the trailer extensions as it completely changes the weight distribution of the trailer - puts too much weight on the drawbar & makes it quite dangerous I think....
My husband converted my 505 for my carriage - but I drive a mini Shetland so it's all small & fits easily! the front section I have for storage, then pony goes widthways across the trailer & goes on&off the front ramp, partition either side of him, then carriage in the back with shafts upwards towards the roof. Depends really on size of pony/carriage and whether the carriage is easy to pull to bits&put back together.
Good luck!
