My mare has lost a lot of muscle from her hind quarter through a reduction in exercise. She is not over weigh but I'm curious as to the best way of building this up? She is heavy on the forehand in walk & trot only. My intentions is once she is moved to her new yard to ride her more often (2-3 times a week), but are there any "indian" tricks you could share?
