Haven't done a comp report for awhile but thought I would this time as we bought some piccys of the neddies
Went to Addington on Tuesday, managed to get the horses there in one piece despite the driving
Teddy jumped Disco and 1.05 (his 1st 1.05) and he jumped super, unfortunately he was too busy gawping at the pond that he didn't get to the water tray right and caught the pole between his front legs, which then put him wrong for the related distance to the next fence so he clipped that as well but then jumped the rest super, so ended on 8 faults... we were really pleased though because even though he had some poles he is improving so much and has still only done a few BSJA shows.
Cordy just jumped in the Newc, she jumped a fab double clear to finish 6th
Baby Bell jumped in the Disco and the Newc, its only the 3rd time he's jumped a Newc and has he was warming in, you could hear a thunder storm moving in, it just started to rain as he went into the ring, by the time he was over the first fence the heavens opened and it got heavier and heavier as the round progressed
Cordy and I took shelter under some trees has she didn't have a rug on!! By the time Mat came out with Bell they were drowned and Addington suspended the jumping
Once the storm past over, Mat could pour the rain out of his show jacket sleeves
he also had to walk over to the judges to find out what he got because we couldn't hear the tannoy over the thunder!!!!
Pour Bell had 4 poles but he tried his little heart out... and I did smile at Mat having to jump Cordy in the jump off with squelchy pants!

So then everybody came and stayed at mine for the night and we went to the Hand yesterday...
Driving down the M5 in gale force winds and lashing rain, we decided we were a 'little' nuts for going show jumping and by the time we got to the Gordano services we decided we better ring to see if it was still on (it was
) and we were running really late, so we enter the Disco over the phone! It took about 45 minutes longer to get there than usual because we were driving into the wind and rain... but luckily it stopped raining as we turned into the Hand!
Mat travelled in the back from the services because we were late and jumped out the lorry with Bell as soon as we got there and went straight in the ring
we had a lovely day, Bell had 4 faults in the Newc, Ted Bear jumped super he had an unlucky fence in the 1.05 (after spooky at the coursebuilder measuring the distances between fences for the next round with his funny little wheel thingy! lol) and Cordy had her 3rd attempt at Fox and just had 4 faults so we were really pleased with them all
