Presumably as it was cut off at the hooves it is just for its scrap value. Having the statute really gave Addington the wow factor as you enter it. I can remember the first time I went there and thought how impressive it was.

Wow! Blimey. Actually I'm not surprised, I had my handbag stolen out of a car at Addington (car windows smashed, etc). I bet they are a big target. :(

Ditto Halfstep that happened to my mum a few years back as well. They drove all the way down the drive (on a non show day!) stopped at the car which was parked up by the mini cottage & small stable block at end of little indoor (presuming they still there!), got out smashed window nicked bag (setting off alarm) and drove back off before anyone knew what had happened.

I'm devastated - one of my favourite pix of our previous horse is her eyeing up the bronze horse while she was in a show class. She's really posing and trying to catch his eye!
It was a real landmark.

As I drove out a couple of weeks ago I said to hubby 'surprised thats not been nicked yet'. Trouble is theres no houses nearby so I should imagine whoever took it had quite a lot of time to do so plus needing the equipment to do so. Shame that theres always some scum out to spoil things.
