Ok some of you know my psychotic horse as good ole Weezy had her for a while. And boy did she do wonders with the horse. Any way horse has had a lot of time out to sort out her foibles, but we took her to the ODE at Addington on Saturday and she was entered into the Pre-Novice. Well I know the stress of a show does have a tendancy to blow her brains but I was a very proud mum. She scored 47.5 in her dressage (and yes those that know the horse I was very pleased) this is her first ever dressage test! She stayed in the ring, didn't try to jump the boards, didn't buck, rear or prejump and managed to do all her test in a relatively sane way. In the cross country on the surface she had 2 refusals and one knock down, not bad considering she hasn't seen a cross country fence in over 4 years. And bearing in mind she's 17hh and her jockey is 5ft 1. And then in the SJ she went clear. So I am now looking forward to see how she goes on Thursday to see if we can improve on Saturday's performance. Any one else going on Thursday?
