Addington Young horse classes

Arrived.. just about... landrover (old type!!) decided to make a few noises about 10 miles away from Addington... I stopped...checked.. could not see anything... drove 10 miles to Addington at 30mph... great traffic jam I caused!!!

Arrived, phew.. called AA, went and had a walk around..amazing horses, riders etc... Got some brill piccies, as we arrived horse and rider had parted company in warm up .. proceeded to gallop around for about 10 mins!!! will download piccies soon. Saw Carl Hester, had a chat n coffee and got the latest gossip from him!!! HA! Joke... just took some piccies of him though!

So AA man arrived.. said could be wheel bearing... turned out it was the swivel joint and when he looked at it and I saw how much movement there was I think how lucky I was .. I could have ended up in the fast lane of the M25 very quickly as it was the driver side...EKKKKKK.. anyway had to get towed home.. missed out on the Gala evening... gave my tickets away and am sitting here now reflecting on my poop week... box ramp broke, car broke... soon me to be broke... and it was blooming freezing and I was not dressed for the occasion!!! GRRRHHH!!!Well, glass of wine, lump of cheese and soon forget I had a poo day!!!

Sorry to hear you missed out on your evening at Addington.

Are you going there for the amateur festival at the begining of September? One of my friends who I teach is going and I'm going along to help. It's 1st/2nd September.

Hiya! Yep I have put my sheets in for Novice and Elementary! I cant wait!! Memory lane as that is where I first sat on him a year and a half ago wondering if I had done the right thing!! LOL!!

He is a little sluggish at mo for some reason,prob weather...he cant stand it when it is humid/heat...

we shall see anyway and I will let you know how we get on... fingers crossed!!!
