Addison's Disease

Our puppy took a turn for the worst this weekend as was in emergency vets. She's now home but they are querying Addison's disease. Later on in the week or next week we will get a blood done to test for this as don't want to stress her out anymore she's had a horrible weekend.

Anyways have been looking online and researching so have the basic jist of what it is but just wanted to know if anyone has first hand experience with it in their dogs. Any experiences or info etc appreciated!
