PRICE!!!!! MY GOOD GOD!!

my mare is on a course of adequan for her joints...long story... but please please don't tell me i have to spend that amount of money on a monthly basis!!! vet didn't mention how long to use it and i forgot to ask

if anyone has had it can you tell me how long you were on it for cheers!

p.s i know this should be in vets but more action in here!

Patches just had 4 shots of it WEEKLY as well as Hyonate.

How much are you being charged?

I'm being charged £70 a shot.

£300 for a month's supply one shot every 4 days. eekk

That's cheaper than mine then! I only got 4 shots a month for £280....never mind adding the Hyonate and steroid jabs into her hocks into the mix!

My mare had 1 shot every 4 days for 4 weeks then had a course every 6 months. Didint see any real change so after 3 courses gave up with it. Lucky insurance paid for mine as think I was charged £350 per course
