Adjusting the Width of an Amerigo Jump saddle

Is this possible? if so by whom and how long/how much should I expect it to take?

Did it work? the only time I had this type of thing done ages ago the saddle always slipped sideways afterwards.

Yes a master saddler can do it relatively easily. My old horses Amerigo saddle was fitted to my newer horse ( who is wider ) and it now fits very well.
