Hi! Anyone on Adlington EC that can give me any info or opinions? I believe you pay extra for use of manege, indoor etc. Any replies welcome!
Thanks!

I don't have first hand knowledge but a couple of friends went there and liked it very much. Yes, you do pay extra to use the indoor, but this may be if you want it to yourself. When I visited they had a"no unaccompanied under 18s" rule which I prefer. I think the fields are gender split and some of the land is across the other side of quite a busy road. Not good if you are trying to cross during the rush hour of if your horse is a bit daft. I would say go and see for yourself.

Thanks for your reply, I'm going to have a look, though I know there are no stables free at the moment. I have competed there in the past so know what the indoor and outdoor manege is like.
Its always useful to have feedback from someone that is on the yard, though. My horse is generally well behaved but may well be a "bit daft" when he goes to a new place!
Also wondered what the hacking was like, I thought it would be limited but someone else on one of these forums says its good..
here's hoping....

I had a horse there a number of years ago, well maintained place and great facilities, Ivan Stockdale used to come and do teeth and a variety of farriers. It wasn't that friendly as it was so large.

The road up to the good hacking is a busy one and when I was there one horse was hit and another rider came off, I hated hacking down that road even on a ploddy cob.

A lot of the paddocks are very lush as it used the be a cattle farm so I had to keep mine in a lot due to lami.
