Adopting a ckc with heart murmur

If you want to give a dog home with health issues, then do it. Just be mindful of potential vet fees. Personally, if I fell in love with a dog that had health issues, I wouldn’t hesitate.
 
my lurcher had a heart murmur which some vets said was grade 2 and another said grade 4. it never caused her any problems and certainly didnt stop her running off at warp speed!!!! i lost her at almost 13 as she had arthritis in her hips and it couldnt be controlled by painkillers...my previous lurcher also had a slight heart murmur and i lost her when she was almost 15 to old age. i think it is a lottery and if you like the dog you could take a chance and give him a nice home. he could have no further issues as mine didnt....
