I ride and (when i get around to it) compete my pony - she's a 14.1 PBA mare. I showjump her but have only stuck to unaffiliated stuff because i know the sort of comments i'm likely to get at affiliated events. The venues we jump at are all designed by a BSJA course builder and are set out at horse's striding so i know that it won't be a problem for her. But the looks I get because i'm not on some 16.2 sports horse really irritate me. I'm also gutted that I can't compete BE with her because she's not big enough. I wish there were classes in all disciplines for people with ponies.
