adventurous baby bird!!

So this morning my mum walked into the kitchen and found a little baby bird sitting in there! He had fallen out of his nest and, because the back door was open, hopped into the kitchen to explore!
We put him back outside away from house thinking his mum would come and get him, but by late afternoon we realised he was still there calling, with stuff wrapped round his legs. He couldn't fly, so me being a softie in he comes, we make him a nest out of straw and feed him..

It soon became known why he had fallen out of his nest.. He couldn't fly but insisted on flapping out of his nest, around the living room and hopping up onto us.. He was so tame for a wild bird!
We managed to find his nest which turns out to be by our kitchen window and we put him in and have since seen mum go in and out with food so guessing he is happy to be back! He was awfully cute.. Just thought I'd share the adventure!!

my dad picked up a pheasant chick on monday! couldnt have been 12 hours old and on deaths door! found it in the middle of nowhere and it wouldnt eat by its self for the first 3 days...so we syringe fed it (que staying up till 2.30am! feeding it )

well not any more, it doesnt stop cheeping! eats for england and is growing proper feathers!!!!!! and it runs everywhere leaping and jumping!!!!! never sleeps..... mums pretty peeved that it has to have a heat lamp 24/7....elec bills through the roof!!!

only another 15weeks to go.....

Ahhh TandD i bet thats so amazing to do! Hes very lucky to of been found by you all! I was sooo ready to make him my new baby happy we found his nest of course but I was secretly exited
