Registered Irish Sports Horse by 'Euro Lover' out of 'Dilys'. 'LORD AVALON' is a stunning 16HH, six year old (2002) chestnut gelding with four white socks. This is a smart and capable horse who I have spent time producing and is now fit and ready to compete. Currently being schooled on the flat, over show jumps and cross country schooling too. I brought him for BSJA but I have decided to take a break from horses to do A-Levels. Hacks alone and in company; load, travel, catch, clip, shoe, traffic etc and not strong or silly.

Photos...(going to do a tally so nice a clear please!!)

THANK-YOU HAPPYHORSE!!!

Gosh I need to have strong words with the rider

1, 3 and 5 are my favorite photos. I think your sussex way arn't you? A friend of mine is looking for a horse at the moment yours sounds great, can you pm me price?

In 3 he looks downhill. 4 makes him look nutty, 5 he is jumping hollow, 6 would be nice if his body wasnt cut into 3 by wings.....

6 is a nice photo if it wasn't for the wings. Perhaps someone could photoshop it for FMN - not me as I am useless at that sort of thing.

I'm sure he's not but he looks it there!

No, that one's not good either

Is he cow hocked or is it the way he is standing? what sort of price are you looking at... know someone who is looking

p.s last photo isn't good, he looks as if he is getting ready to buck/bounce

does he move straight?

1, 2 and 3 are my favourites and without any competition experience I would probably expect to pay about £5 - £6K, but I'm not really familiar with his breeding so could be being thick !!

As a 6 year old with no competition experience this is way ott imho.
I'd try him at 4k

I need to be sensible for once... Four young horses, at two yards, one yard being own (lot of work owning a yard!), GCSEs and A-Levels next year - too much without either grades or horses suffering

I know I'll regert it when I am ready for a horse again, doubt I'll find something like him to ride again.

Sorry, but I absolutely hate bad spelling

. It should read .... I have spent time producing this smart and capable horse and he is now fit and ready to compete. I BOUGHT him (not brought) for BSJA.

He has stockings, not socks.

I like photo 1 - but it is a pity he is not facing the camera - and photo 7. I would guess his price at £4.5 to £5k.

I would say pic 2 is the best - the flatwork one makes him look downhill and in the ridden jumping one he is hollow.

Price wise I would say around 3.5k to sell for around 3k if he is very good to do in all ways and would make a nice RC allrounder. He looks a nice sort, but unless the pictures are really not doing him justice, his flatwork and jumping just don't look good enough to command any more than that IMO. To be worth 4k+ I personally would want to see him jumping a more substantial fence, and working better on the flat.

I would have guessed around 3K price wise max as he hasn't competed or jumped a course of big fences at home even.
