please can i have some help with an advert for my 4yro- i have written down a bit about her below.
i really want to get across how easy and laidback she is- she is the only horse the non-horsey YO will lead around, catch etc and is just a thoroughly nice person to be around.

16.1hh 4yro coloured mare with the easiest temperament you could wish for.
Good flatwork and now jumping small fences with confidence.
Super to hack out alone or in company, happy at the front or behind in all 3 paces with excellent brakes.
Excellent to do around the yard, can be trusted with nervous people and children.
Extremely good to do in everyway including shoeing, clipping, teeth etc.
happy to live in or out all year round.
Was shown last year and never placed out of the top 2- very easy at shows as she loads herself and will snooze in the trailer while you collect your number, have a burger etc!
Slight blemish on front leg due to field accident as 2yro but this does not affect her in anyway- open to any vetting.
I cannot stress how easy this horse is to do- references available from farrier, dentist, YO, instructor etc. Owned since a foal- only for sale due to time consuming new job.

She is currently at a pro yard for 2 weeks as I am snowed under with work- pro likes her and thinks she will easily manage PN as apparently she actually has a very nice, scopey jump.

Will obviously get better pictures of her for her advert- thought one stood up, one over a fence and a nice trot one?
Price will be between £4.5-5k

the conformation shot was taken when she was a 2yro so has obviously filled out more since then and the ridden pics were taken at her first outing away from home, hence i was happy with her working long and low.

thanks for help guys, very sad about this as she is the perfect horse for me in 10-15years but just not right now

Shes gorgeaues i would put more recent confo shot on and what youv'e written seems fine good luck with finding a nice home for her

No need for an advert.....just pop her in the post to me

I love her she is a smashing horse I hope you manage to find a brilliant home for her.

Your advert looks fine. Include any breeding info if you have it. Your idea to use good recent photos is good & ensure they aren't blurred in any way. Possibly set up the camera to take a series of shots so you'll have a choice of sharp images to choose from. Good Luck

Lovely horse. Include breeding especially as she is a mare. I would tone down your clothes i.e. lose the red socks as they are drawing attention away from the lovely horse. I hope you find a super home.

yes, she will be thoroughly smartened up for the photos, don't worry! and we will have white numnah, i will have long boots etc.

some people have suggested cutting her feathers- opinions?
i don't think she is actually that hairy and would rather leave it up to the potential purchaser if they want to cut or leave them.

she actually has very nice breeding- decent racehorse sire and on the dam's side she is closely related to lots of top 3***/4**** eventers so i should put that on really!

If you are marketing her as a pot event type then i would trim her heels / mane up but if general RC type then not.

i think the fact she is only likely to go PN, maybe Novice, would make me market her as an RC horse- although according to some adverts if it can jump 2'6ft at 4yrs old it is Badminton bound!

her mane and tail are going to get done regardless but i may leave the feather.

I've mostly just re-arranged some of your text but how about :

16.1hh 4yro coloured mare, with easy and laid-back temperament (the only horse my non-horsey YardOwner will handle). Good flatwork and now jumping small fences with confidence. Think she will easily manage PN, suitable for someone looking for a RC horse with excellent temperament. Super to hack out alone or in company, happy at the front or behind in all 3 paces with excellent brakes. Was shown last year and never placed out of the top 2, well behaved at the shows, loads herself and will snooze in the trailer while waiting. Excellent to do around the yard, calm with nervous people, extremely good with shoeing, clipping, teeth etc. Happy to live in or out all year round. Slight blemish on front leg due to field accident as 2yro but this does not affect her in anyway, open to any vetting. Owned since a foal, only for sale due to time consuming new job.

I have left out the part about you being able to provide references from farrier, dentist, YO, instructor etc. about her temperament, if a potential buyer doesn't know your farrier etc, I would save that for when you talk to them in person. I did consider putting this at the end "she is the perfect horse for me in 10-15years but just not right now" but I couldn't make my mind up.

Good luck with the sale.
