Friendly horse. Easy to do. Will hack out in company. Team chasing /hunting prospect. Wormed + Flu £950 Tel: 07958 717717. (Kent)

Have you seen this poor chap - terrible picture - doesn't look in great condition. Cheap price and yet he's supposed to be suitable for team chasing/hunting. Looks such a sorry boy.:(

I think it's just an unfortunate pic - not one i'd use to show the horse off. He doesn't look particularly poor to me  A flick over with a brush and a better angle with his ears forwards would make all the difference I think.

Looks like he's been roughed off, so with work and a bit of time probably could hunt/chase?

I have to admit that it isn't a particularly good pic but I think his condition is purely cosmetic! A good brush off, a nicer headcollar or bridle and standing him up straight could make the world of difference.

I've just looked at the website (googled the telephone no.) and it's only about 3 pages with hardly any info.

Surely if you wanted to sell you'd make a bit of an effort with both horse and standard of picture.

Being a cynical old fart...I'm thinking maybe it's a ploy by dealers?? Show the horse looking poor and mucky and someone will take pity and buy it to 'save' it???? As said above it 'catches your eye' so maybe that's the idea??

I think maybe they are just being straight forward. Horse roughed off and photo shows it as such. Bad pic or no, its having the desired effect ,we are all talking about it!

Surely you would brush a pony before taking a picture to try to sell it?!
That is ultimate laziness IMO and I would not entertain buying from a seller that has not got the decency to groom their pony - surely that is horse care at it's most basic??!!! ***rant over***

And given some other prices that I have seen recently I would say that it is overpriced!!

stud fee 65,000 !!!!! am i reading right ? horse has got to come unsound surely ? even in this climate thats got to be a bargain otherwise ?

Unfortunate photo, but LOOK, there's a telephone number!
Phone and find out the details;)

Maybe they just want him gone quickly, so many reasons for a cheap asking price, take a trailer to view, 750-800 for cash and away you go.
Bet he scrubs up OK though.
Someone may get themselves a project to bring on, you never can tell until you see anything in the flesh do you?:)

If you look through the horse ads I think you'll an awful lot that use awful photos. Many people just don't seem to understand the importance of presentation.

:) Those are the ones that get a lot of publicity on here;)

I wonder, has any HHO member actually bought any of these horses discussed over time?
