3rd) is it all big hedges? im a lil nervous about that? my hunt never really jumps much!

4th) shall i put boots on my horse? i dont want him to get any thorns in his legs!

Black with blue as you are 18. And yes, they are massive hedges with ditches if you don't have a very good hedge jumper then i wouldn't even try. And yes, boot up. There are non jumpers so no worries on that score. I go with the Vale but don't jump as my horses other job is dressage! Have fun.x

I'm 19, 20 next year and still hunt in tweed because I feel more comfortable in it and I don't have a navy wool jacket. I have a black one but navy is more correct. I knew someone who aged 21 hunted in tweed and had her hunt buttons on her tweed coat.

If you're not sure and don't jump much normally definitely boot up, and wear your P2 if it gives you peace of mind. When you get there ask the secretary to point you in the direction of a good lead. If you're worried about thorns and its your own horse invest in a pair of knee boots (we hack in them too as roads are very slippy around here)
