hi all, my friend has a quirky horse and she has spent a fortune trying to sort it and looks like it can't be fixed.
she is lovely in every way box/shoe/traffic and is a doll to handle.
but sometimes will bronk her off ,if your prepared to lunge every time you ride she is fine ,she is also fine when she is in hard regular work .
it is the day you think oh she ain't done it for ages(up to 8 month) ill just get on that she will explode .
she is a 16'3 coloured warmblood (orlando) x tb (regisered can't remember name) 6yr old & has good comf .
someone has offered her £2000 as a broodmare (she paid £3000 as a 3yr old))
she is thinking of putting her in foal herself but is worried about temprement being passed on to the foal and ending up in the same boat in 4yrs time.
what would you do ? sell as brood mare , sell as comp horse (she's been to a few shows etc but still green for a 6yr old) or keep and hope she grows out of it .
any one know if orlando(by oberon) youngsters are like this.
she was badly broken in and we think she learnt it then.
she has had all the usual checks and all is fine.
do you think 2000 is a good price?
any advise would be great i really feel sorry for her she has a young family and wants something she can just get on a couple of times a week without the worry thanks x
