I'm planning on doing my first novice freestyle dressage to music in a few months and need some advice on music choices.

Said pony is 14hh, New Forest, very cheeky chubster, so i ideally want some music to match his character. I've found some tracks from the Lion king that i love, but what music do you think suits hairy ponies? :D

Also I'm doing it for a bit of fun rather than the score so i'd like some music that the public knows and will enjoy:p

Somewhat oddly the first thing I thought of was the theme music for The Great Escape - that would be really amusing (although perhaps not quite what you were thinking of!).

I once saw a native pony doing dressage to 'Uptown Girl' which was brilliant and the crowd really were nodding along

Choose something you both like and is the correct rhythm for you.
I've used all sorts from Adele to Ollie Murs, jazz to scottish music. Lots of riding to different stuff to see what fits rather than choosing a 'subject'.
