Ok so he lives out 24/7, up till recently been in the winter field with very little grass and been on ad lib haylage and light work consisting of a few walk/trot hacks (he's on working livery) and a few half hour sessions of school work which occasionally have a bit of canter work in them too thoughout the week.
Now he's been moved to a new field with plenty of summer grass and will be worked for at least half and hour a day by me with lots of walk, trot and canter work. Some days he'll do his usually work load of maybe an extra hour/ hour and a half of walk/trot work for the school too.
Should I be worried about him getting a big grass belly? Should I up his work load? Any other advice you'd give?
Thank you
