So my friend has bought a mini shetland colt as a companion for her cob, any advice on them? any special traits?
hes adorable!!!
Don't be kidded by the cute factor, it's easy to have bad behavior & forgive it because it seems sweet.. Make sure you teach him good manners as you would a big horse as it's just as important. They are very strong for their size, intelligent & quick to learn. Watch his weight as it is amazing how little they need & it's very easy to overfeed. Enjoy![]()
Can i please use your *Say no to rolkur* thing in my siggy?![]()
Main thing I found was that they seem to be like hamsters for escaping. Even with fencing proportional to their size they seem to manage it.
