Hello there :)

Firstly, I'm sorry that I am so rubbish at explaining myself :p

I was just wondering if you could give some opinions on my little idea; I was thinking about locally advertising to do some photoshoots for people with ther horses.

I'm a photography student, and have my own camera, I wanted to get a bit of experience and maybe earn a little money (as we all know on here, horses do eat the stuff!)

Recently, for my portfolio thing at college, I have been photographing friends and family with their horses and also some racing and have really enjoyed it, I will post some examples with Jack in them and some links, because I don't really want to be posting pics of other people on a forum, my questions are..

do you think I'm good enough? Hopefully, I can only improve the more I do which is what this is about really ;) Please bear in mind that by the time they've been through fb and HHO, they loose a bit of quality :)

How much should I charge? I'm guessing not much, I have looked at rates of pros around here, which are fairly expensive, and only include the shoot and one image whereas I could go and get an entire set developed at jessops or whatever (obviously included in the price?) or alternatively send them online as a file in an email?

Last time I posed on here asking something like this I was warned not to do it by a member as I would be taking buisness away from the pros, I wasn't sure if I should post this or not. :o

Anyway, pictures ;)

And millions more in the link in my signiture if you really feel like having a look :) I know that I need to get a bit more creative with poses and stuff. It wasn't something that I was considering at the time as I had purely asked people to let me photograph them schooling to practice getting the exposure and all the rest right :)

I had no idea that I would have to think of so many things

I like your photos, and it would be something that I would be interested in if I had seen an advert in my local area, re the price I would not have a clue sorry to say, so not much help there. Hope it works out for you :D

Thank you for your well wishes! :) Do you think the best way to go about it would be to make some posters with example pictures on.. I have a fb page, but most of my friends on there are HHOers who again live too far away :)
