Well just rang vets for advice but all of them are out so they said they would ring back asap so in the mean time i thought i would ask you lot!

Well about 3days ago Harry got a small thing on his back leg which looked like a graze, weeping a small amount of clearish yellow liqiud. I have kept it clean etc and it looked to have healed and scabbed over
Tonight i have counted 5 of these things around both of his back legs, again i have cleaned them but as i was cleaning one the scabs fell off and out popped a maggot type thing about 1/2 inch long and pure white - i screamed and threw it rather qiuckly.
The areas look like scabs which weep this liqiud (almost look like a burn)
The area if slightly warm but doesn't bother him at all

Any advice?

Could it be bots? Not sure if they come through the skin.

Warble fly maggots could also do this but I thought that warbles had virtually disappeared in this country. Sorry not much help reallly but you could google bots or warble fly!

Id just keep cleaning the area until you speak to vets. Not much more you can do.

Vets have rang back, basically said just keep clean, remove any maggots found and flush min 3 times a day. If it gets worse they will come out and sedate him and attack the wounds properly under sedation

Sound like bot fly larvae to me...
Although they are pretty rare sometimes this does happen, which is why we worm with a double dose tapeworm type wormer every late autumn, it's supposd to kill them..
If you try that this year it shouldn't happen again.

we get a lot of that - I just bathe and spray with purple spray. I think its possibly biting ants as its only ever around the short pastern, feathers area...
