Advice needed for prices/fitting on a Ifor 505 floor

Hi,

I need a new floor putting in to my Ifor Williams 505 and was just wondering if any body knows

1 How much for an aluminium?

2. Would this be able to be fitted easily enough or need to be fitted by a specailist?

3. How much for a wooden?


I would prefer an aluminium floor but if wooden is a much cheeper option I may go with this as im a bit strapped for cash at the mo.
But obviously I want to make sure my trailer is safe.

I'm just getting a floor for my 510, an aluminium one is about £300 from your local Ifor dealer, I think they cna fit it but if you've got a useful man then they're pretty simple to fit yourself

If you go onto Ifor Williams and look up their parts brochure I'm sure the prices are on there. Best to get a mechanic to do it. Where abouts are you?

Also, Aluminium for sure cheaper in the long run as is unlikely to need redone.

We replaced our 505's floor, i think it was about £285 and we fitted ourselves, takes 2 to put it in as its big but otherwise ok.

Shop around for prices if you are getting IW to fit the floor, I saved £400 by using a dealer in Cardiff rather than my local one (who weren't interested in "sharpening their pencil" when I asked them if they'd like to). And the Cardiff people did a first rate job too
