I need advice.
In January my boy appeared to be in pain around his belly. Whenever pressure is applied to the belly his ears go flat back and he tries to kick you. This is totally our of character as he is very tollerable and laid back and would certainly never try to kick anybody. I gave it a day or two as he was eating drinking and his usually self. After a couple of days I called out the vet, who couldn't find anything wrong temp fine, internal exam fine etc took bloods which came back slightly high muscle enzyme. So he said likely a kick injury and gave me some bute. Anyway after a week he came back horse in my opinion no better thou he thought improved a little. Took more bloods and still muscle enzyme slightly raised. Nearly two months later he is still the same. I was told to start bringing him back into work but my physio agreed I certainly shouldn't be riding him while he seems to be in pain. We thought he might have a reaction to devil claw which I started feeding just before this starting happening. I've took this out his feed and been feeding probiotic for a week but still no improvement. I'm calling out a different vet to come look at him but just wondered if anybody had any ideas as im at my wits end!!

Sorry for the long post!!!

Just a handful of chaff mixed with a small amount of sugar beet. Not had him scoped yet but I'll be asking my new vet about this. Tbh the was my first instinct but my bet brushed it off!!
