Just wondered if anyone had had a similar problem. My mare is always quite a quick jumper cross-country, but she's neat and safe. However, yesterday I took her to a BE100 and she dived at a few of the smaller fences, throwing herself over really quickly - and it was a little bit scary!
I'm pretty sure she was just over-familiar with the track and therefore going a bit too fast - she was being strong - but I wondered if there might be some sort of pain going on? Or bad ground? Or my fault?
She was fine for the combinations, probably because I got her right back, but at the basic fences it just wasn't her usual style.
Has anyone had anything like this?
