Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone can shed any light on this problem for me please. Looking to purchase a new neddy (well have been looking for the past 7 months) and I have found one I love but he doesnt have great legs/ feet. He is slightly pigeon toed which doesnt really bother me but it is more the angle of his legs... When he stands he looks like he has an okay amount of space between his legs but in his paces his legs are pretty close together. I cannot hear/ see his boots bashing when moving but I am concerned. I think when they walk on the same track it is called rope walking?! but its not that bad. I have asked one experienced person and she said her horse had very little space between his legs when she got him but by a year later it had greatly improved. But then someone else told me it was pretty bad and would increase up until aged 10 so to continue to look elsewhere. He is only 5yrs now. It's not something I know much about, just wondered if anyone could shed any light? He is going to be an allrounder- mostly dressage but may also complete the odd clear round with him. Any advice gratefully received.
