A horse at my yard is absolutly covered in what looks like fly bites but cant be, theres no space between them they are all roughly the same size and its from head to toe litterally.

Hes had his fly free upped this week, owner thinks its that but i thought it might be hives?

Thoughts please :D

I would get a vet ASAP. Incase its an infection of some sort, you don't want the other horses catching it!!
Could it be ring worm? Not sure if ring worm is more focus to a part of the body, rather than all over.

Is def not ringworm :) Unfortunatly not my horse so not alot i can do and hes 100% himself in every other way, just wondered if people had come across this before? Like a allergic reaction to fly free or hives

My horse used to react to something in her field occasionally and came up in lumps like that. Never found out what it was and it hasn't happened since we moved so not much help really, just check out the plantlife in the field.

Google Urtacaria (think thats how its spelt) and look at pics, can be for a number of reasons but will probably need steroid injection from vet.
