Would appreciate any advise please....I live in Spain and bought a 2 brand new saddles (and not cheap!!)from Ireland. When the saddles arrived, I was very happy with them but when I checked the stirrup bar safety catch on one of the saddles, it broke. So the shop I bought the saddle from agreed to take the cost of returning the saddle to Ireland. I assumed this would be straightforward...fix the problem and send the saddle back to me?? However, it seems the shop do not want the cost of sending the "repaired" saddle back to Spain....what should I do now? I have contacted the saddle manufacturer and although they promised to get back to me today, I still not have heard from them. The shop tells me the manufacturer will not cover the cost of repairing the fault, and now the shop will repair the stirrup bar for free but not covee the cost of sending it back to me......without complicating things further the second saddle's tree width is incorrect so for me the shop (who are master saddlers) bear the responsibility for getting the size wrong.....however as with the first saddle they are not willing to take the cost of sending the saddles back to me.......any advise please would be greatly appreciated so thanks in advance.....Den
