Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum and need advice from anyone who rides east of London.
I live and work in East London and am looking for a horse to share but my problem is that I don't have a car, so it needs to be accessible by public transport.
Does anyone know of livery yards, for example in Essex, that are either near the tube or overground, or perhaps reachable by a tube/train + bus connection? Tall order, I know, but there must be some out there where I can put a notice up!
I'm really looking for a friendly community with knowledgeable people around, somewhere I could do flatwork, have lessons and go hacking and of course enjoy being around horses and nice people.
If anyone knows of a sensible, fairly experienced and established horse over 15.1 that needs a sharer in that area, I would also be immensely grateful to hear from you!
I'm 36, female, have ridden for the last 7 years (and as a child) and shared before, but the horse turned out a bit too unstable for my liking. Stable duties and/or financial contribution no problem. I'd rather really "share" than just "ride". Not a terribly keen jumper but interested in classical dressage and Ride with Your Mind (Mary Wanless).
Thank you in advance for any hints, tips and advice!
Best wishes,
Kay
