Long story short, new mare, ex brood mare came yesterday and in season today, my lad who has lived happily with mares in the past with no problems is too interested in her. When we lost our other boy recently we borrowed a pony mare for company with no problems, but last year raped a mare, the way she was cut up no other word for it, poor lass was in shock.
Now we have seperated them just in case.
Would it be better to supplement him or her
Any advice appreciated
