Hiya, im looking for some advice about what colour jacket to wear for shows? i have a skewbald traditional cob mare and an Arab X German Warmblood yearling that i am wanting to get out to a few shows this year, have looked on a few sites and have got mixed responses, ideally wanted a black jacket to match my boots etc. Ideally i would like to only have to get one jacket but obviously if this is not possible then i will buy 2. Help!?

From reading your other post you heading out showing...for both horses you will need a tweed jacket. TBH a tweed jacket is a very versitle jacket at is it totally acceptable for everything even if the fashion doesnt "accept it" so until you decide where you want to focus your competiting its a very wise buy :)

yeah well i will only be concentrating on showing with my traditional for the time being and may go on to dressage with her but is it still ok to have black tack even though it will be brown gloves etc?:)

A tweed jacket can be warn for all disciplines up to a certain level and is far more correct for showing, a black jacket is a big no no for showing :) The colour of your tack will be fine as you are just starting out and brown leather gloves and cane will look fine and are quite correct even if your boots and tack are black :)
