Advice on black lab pup please...

My OH and I went to look at a litter of black labs pups last night. We will hopefully be bringing one home in about 4 weeks. She will be trained to be a gun dog eventually, hopefully. We currently have a little jrt, spoilt, she even sleeps in bed with us. My worry is that the lab will be an outside dog. She will have a decked out kennel, heat lamp etc and a nice run. Do we put the pup outside in the kennel as soon as we get her or do we allow her to settle in the house until she is a bit older then put her outside? She was born outside. I can see this causing a few arguments in the house as I tend to spoil animals whereas my OH is more strict!! Advice please, thanks
 
Haven't had a baby pup for years but in the house for the first few weeks, gradually then out in the day and in at night and then out once they are a few months old. I am sure she will be fine.
