Advice on dress code please

My daughter is 13 and is going to hunt for the first time at the beginning of December.

Should she wear her hacking jacket or a black jacket?

She doesn't have a black jacket but she does have a navy one. Can she wear this?

She is in the Pony Club attached to this hunt so should she wear her PC tie and badge?

Does the pony have to be plaited? Tail as well?

A hacking jacket will be fine and yes to the PC tie and badge. Plaiting depends on the hunt - some always plait and others just plait for lawn meets. Hopefully someone from your area will be along to answer.

As correct dress she should ony wear a hacking jacket and not a black or navy jacket (children under 16 should wear Tweed throughout the season). She should really wear a coloured stock and yes pin the PC badge on. Correct only to plait for lawn meets but its totally upto you.
