Advice on feeding a 3 year old!

Hi im new here so please excuse me if im asking daft questions!

Iv just brought a 3yr old araloosa (arab x appaloosa). hes currently being fed dodson and horrell mare and youngstock mix, alfa-a oil and sugarbeet to the recommended requirements. Im just wondering what you guys feed your 3yrs olds!

Mine was on D&H mare and youngstock, hifi and about a million supplements but she was in v poor condition when I got her. Fortunately she improved quickly but she stayed on a broad spectrum vit supplement and something for growth - I've forgotten what its called now but it was recommended by the vet
