Hi everyone

I'm having difficulty finding a saddle, GP or jumping to fit my horse. He's a M/W but needs a saddle with a full gusset as he's hollow below the withers! I can get a made to measure saddle but am hoping to find a second hand one and save a bit if I can! Any suggestions as to which make / model / second had saddle shops etc would be great. I've been looking for 6 month and no luck! Thanks. :)

The hollow behind the withers is usually due to muscle wastage and possibly caused by a poorly fitting saddle, a good saddle fitter will be able to fit so that these hollow areas can fill out correctly.
I have seen these hollow areas go within a few weeks with a correctly fitted saddle, some physio and steady work encouraging the horse to use itself properly.

I would get a good saddler to help it could make a huge difference to your horse, his comfort and way of going.

^^ this and maybe look at a T4 high wither? I am not a saddler...it is purely a guess. Cannot beat a good saddler.
