Hi,

I need some advice on riding gloves please? I bought the Mark Todd gloves with thinsulate and they are brilliant when it's extra cold but I am finding that my hands are getting way too hot when it's just slightly warmer. I have lessons in an indoor arena (not cold once riding) so I need some gloves that will protect my hands from rubbing on the reins but that have good grip please??? I've tried some cheap ones (about £3) from Mole Valley Farmers but the grip is awful. I would prefer some that can be used during the summer when it's hot up to £20-30. Any suggestions please???

Thanks

I have just googled and I think that the Chester are the ones I have... I can't say I've ever looked at the actual name - sorry!

Had some called Mac wet, they are summer and winter, and I used them riding racehorses, where it is essential to have grip in the rain. I never lost them as they were so expensive, and easy to wash 'n wear.

Woof Wear Gloves are amazing. I sued to swear by Roeckl but found they just didn't last and wore out really quickly - have been so pleased with my Woof Wears that i now have a pair in nearly every style. Event Glove is brilliant for warmer weather riding :)
