Advice on lameness please :)

Rox has been lame for 8 days now, first i thought she just twisted it in the field, no swelling, heat no brusing to feet nothing, Monday she was quite badly lame in walk and very stiff, thats gone now and just lame in trot, foreleg.
Now here`s the question lol she was shod 3 days before going lame, had road studs in for the first time and was ridden the following day for about 3 hours.
Do you think its the shoeing job? Farrier came up yesterday to remove shoe and do a foot test, she`s a little tender but farrier is saying nothing to do with his shoeing.
I was going to get the vet out last tues but everyone has said not to and leave her for a few days, what do you think?

Personally i would get vet out now. She may have a abcess in the foot if she is tender but this is just a guess. x

Apart from needing a diagnosis, you will find any claim on insurance would be refused if there was found to be undue delay.
