Advice on loaning passports ect!

Hi guys this might sound like a numpty question but I'm making a hard decision to loan my mare.
I was wondering if you have to give the borrower the horses pass port obviously she needs to travel with it but do they usually keep hold of it? The borrower will not be going any where on her as they just want to hack and school.

Yes it has to be with the horse however you can notify the passport agency and ned that horse is on loan

i would give the loaner a photo copy of her passport and keep the original yourself. if your loaner is asked to produce the passport then she can phone you, and you can produce it!
