Advice on magnetic rug

Hi
Has anybody had any success with magnetic rugs on their horses? Or are they expensive gimmicks. I have a horse with kissing spines. In the summer he is turned out 24/7 but now that the weather is turning he is in at night (although still get to go out a lot more than others I know...7pm-7am!).

bumping as I am interested generally. Not sure if it is worth the money or just a fool (me) being parted (again) with money I can't afford to spend!

I put one on mine all night at the minute as he has some back issues due to a leg ligament injury. Can't really comment on it other than that it seems to make him lovely and warm underneath - i have the equi-magnets mesh rug (you get free magent boots with it too), as I am not really riding him properly at the minute.

I think MrsMozart and Princess Sparkle on here really rate theirs though. One of the symptoms of KS is being cold backed isn't it? I would have thought it would help with that.
