Hi, I have always been horsey but only started a job with horses at a riding centre 3 months ago. I bought myself a pair of toggi Calgary boots as uniform is that we must wear leather boots. But my Calgary's after 3 months are already ripped in places, burst at the zip and the rubber insoles are coming away from the boot and ripped underneath and allow water in. I need some advice on what boots to get that will last more than 3 months. Any advice would be great, thanks.

Not sure on your budget or whether these would be smart enough for what you want, but Tuffa country rider boots are great. They've survived the hellish mud we have had this winter and all yard jobs and are comfy to ride in too. They stay waterproof too providing you take care of them e.g. nikwax

Ariat Grasmeres are lovely - if your work contributes towards the cost of the boots then they would be a lovely treat! And they last well too; if you look after them you should have them for years. If your budget is a bit smaller then Dublin River boots are great; some of the girls at the yard have had theirs for ages.
