advice on size - Rodney Powell BP

Hope someone can help - I posted a while ago re recommendations for BP's. and since I have been measured for a airowear zippa (the size 3 fitted perfectly, but she said to go for the next size down so it will adjust to a little weight loss - therefore, size Ladies 2, short) and a racesafe (kids extra large, short). But after everyone's recommendations, it's a rodney powell that I want (i think).

none of the quite limited choice of saddlers in our area stock them, so I can't go and get fiitted for one - does anyone know how the sizes compare?
I am a size 10 to 12 top, but v v short.

If you phone up a tackshop they might be able to help if you give tham your measurements.

and they can tell you what size you need. I think RP BP's are the best you can buy IMHO

i think you would need a size 3, that's the size i have and i am a size 10/12 and just under 5'4".. (i used to fit these when i worked in a horsey shop..) BUT i would really advise that you go and have one fitted, if they are incorrectly fitted they can be very uncomfortable and are likley to get in the way of your riding..
i have an RP with shoulder protectors (get these if your budget can stretch to it, i did after hearing the stats from BETA.) mine is in a lovely shade of turquoise.!!

yes, i have size 3 too, and i'm 10/12.
but the length is vital, you'd prob be a short, but you honestly must track one down and try it... or ask on here if anyone near you has one you can try on!

will do, my yo will make sure it fits, but just don't want to go the the bother of having sending back if it doesn't - which is why i'm trying to make an educated guess before ordering. i'm away home with a million size charts printed off the internet, now to find a tape measure!!.
