Tara is the puppy who had the squits following worming last week and your advice (scrambled egg) worked a treat...so I thought you may be able to help again.
She was from our local Greyhound rescue and was nearly 14 weeks when we picked her up. We have borrowed a crate from the centre and for the first few nights she was clean and dry...bless. Then of course we had the episode with the wormer and the squits...shes all better now. But, since then she seems to think its ok to pee and poo at night. I have nt put her in the crate for the last 3 nights as tbh I would rather clean up off the floor rather than be hosing her and her bed down 1st thing in the morning. She also likes being with my other 2 dogs (2 year old greyhound and 3 yr old springer spaniel).
She is fed 3 times daily on dry food (pets at home's own stuff as it had the best ingredients list I could find) her last feed being about 6 pm. I walk her at about 8 pm (later if hubby isnt working nights).Last night i did her usual walk at 8 and then sat down to look at tv and she disappeared into kitchen to leave me a double gift.....aghhh.Hubby got in at four this am and she d left him a gift too.
I have owned dogs for years but have always had older dogs (accept harvey the springer who was 16 weeks but from somebodys home, and clean and dry at night...well mostly lol).Tara is 16 weeks old today and I understand she was late coming away from her litter pack. She is doing really well in the day....but the back door remains open for most of it when somebody is home....so just the odd accident.
