Advice please on top hat and tails.

I can't afford to event any more so will be selling my very nice tailcoat and top hat. Is the Ebay route a good idea or is there another site more suited to those who event and do pure dressage? Also would I be better to sell now or wait until the beginning of the next BE season? Thanks.

I think bd has a classified section, you might get more for them selling somewhere like that than ebay. Horsequest also has a clothing section. Is there a riding club / dressage club / comp venue near you that has people riding at a high enough level to need top hat and tails? You could advertise on the site. Depending on the cost to advertise it might be worth advertising a bit before the season starts as people will tend to get prepared and kitted out a bit earlier.
