I've a friend who is interested in taking on two of my unused saddles but she's short of dough and has asked if she can have the saddles and pay the £200 at £25 per week instalments over 8 weeks. Fine, I trust her well enough but still think I should have an agreement drawn up stating the terms and protecting me in the event that she can't/doesn't pay all the instalments.

Anyone have any idea how to word something like that? Thanks :)

Personally - I'd tell her to wait 8 weeks then she can have the saddles ! Problem solved !!!! She might even get them paid off quicker then she can have them sooner , but lets face it thats not going to happen if she's trotting around happily in your lovely saddle.

I know you are friends - but explain that you could sell them on ebay and get rid of them ASAP but you are willing to keep hold of them for her.

Sorry if that sounds harsh
