Hi everyone,

I viewed a horse yesterday who I really like and am due to go back for a second viewing. The horse has a slight conformation issue (not sure if 'issue' is quite the right word but can't think of a better word for it) and i'd like to get a few peoples opinions on if it would bother them with a potential purchase.

I suspect that the owner is a member on here so i'd rather not post all the details on the forum but if anyone wouldn't mind giving me a bit of advice and wouldn't mind sending me a PM i'd be really grateful :)

I'd speak to my vet to see what their view was. If it is an older horse (not a youngster) who has stood up to the work it probably wouldn't bother me.

Well now the advice seems to be its better to use the sellers vet as he is required to reveal all details of previous treatments...see this weeks H&H!

Thank you, have sent PMs.

Nosey - that's interesting to hear, I haven't read this weeks H&H.

I'm going to speak to my vet on Monday, i've just been reading up on it on the internet tonight and have managed to confuse myself massively. He will be vetted if I buy him. He's 8 so not a youngster, but he's not done a lot of work for his age, mainly hacking.
